Organic whole wheat flakes, granola clusters and crunchy strands of bran - what a crisp way to greet the day!

Why cereal?
When you consider the benefits of cereal, you’ll see why it is a great breakfast choice.

Ready-to-eat cereals are rich in important vitamins and minerals, yet lower in calories than many other breakfast options.

Cereal eaters also consume less fat, less cholesterol and more fiber than noncereal eaters.

Why should you go organic?
For You and Your Family! Organic foods are grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, chemical fertilizers or genetically engineered ingredients.

For the Planet! Organic farming helps keep air, water, and soil clean by not using synthetic pesticides or chemical fertilizers.

Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
This is a very good cereal (hence the five-star rating), but twice I received boxes from Amazon either too close to or past the "best by" date stamped on the top flap. When I received a pack of six boxes three weeks PAST the "best by" date, I complained to Amazon. A rep quickly responded with an e-mailed apology and said Amazon would credit my credit card for the purchase price. (Foodstuffs cannot be returned for health reasons, of course.) I realize the "best by" date is not an expiration, but it takes me weeks to consume 6 boxes of cereal, so I want the freshest product possible.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect blend of taste and nutrition, September 19, 2006
One of my favorite cereals! Not too sweet nor too bland. Love the crunch of the flakes, granola, and the bran! Something unique and different from usual bran flake cereal. Nutritious with whole grains and low in fat. Very filling too!

5.0 out of 5 stars I've enjoyed this cereal for months, March 13, 2007
I have been eating this cereal for perhaps a year now, though I am not sure of that. What I am sure of is that it tastes wonderful to me. And the weighed down feeling I got from the previous cereal I ate does not happen with this one. Perhaps that has something to do with the difference between nonorganic and organic. If organic and good tasting are what you are looking for, this cereal may be a good one to try.

As for me, I am going to try soaking oats with whey. I heard it is even more healthy and has been used by groups of people in times passed.
