Rice and Shine cereal is just that, however. It is the best hot cereal that I have tried. It has a wonderful texture and flavor. After eating wheat based cereals, breads and pasta all of my long life, adjusting to a gluten free diet has not been easy. This is one of the gluten free products that has helped with the transition. I add varying combinations of cinnamon, nutmeg, raisins, nuts, to this cereal and create new flavors. Highly recommended. Our middle son requests "Rice & Shine" pretty much every morning, and preparation/microwave cook time is approximately 10 minutes which helps for those crazy school day mornings.
