5.0 out of 5 stars Jimmies, February 23, 2012
This review is from: EnviroKidz Organic Gorilla Munch Cereal, 10-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6) (Grocery)
This cereal was most satisfactory. I purchased some with the intent of keeping it on a table somewhere in my house to keep my jimmies stable. It far exceeded my expectations, and even went so far as to keep all of my family's jimmies in place.

I would recommend this.

5.0 out of 5 stars A box on the table..., March 9, 2012

This review is from: EnviroKidz Organic Gorilla Munch Cereal, 10-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6) (Grocery)
This product is tried and true. Although delicious, the cereal's most astounding property is the calming effect it has on literally anyone who eats it. You will find yourself, after enjoying a bowl of Gorilla Munch, simply laughing at jabs that may have thrown you over the edge on another day.

And you know what they say, a box on the table keeps your jimmies stable.

Recommended for anyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars cured me, May 4, 2012
This review is from: EnviroKidz Organic Gorilla Munch Cereal, 10-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6) (Grocery)
i was going through a tough time in life where it seemed like everything i did, every situation i got into and basically all that i experienced seemed to rustle my jimmies. one day i was walking through trader joe's looking for remedies and stumbled upon this cereal. i like chocolate, i like peanut butter...why not? i ate the entire box and i've been rustle free ever since. i see people i hate, jimmies remain unrustled.....my favorite team loses, jimmies stay unrustled...my favorite band announces a tour and leaves my city off the intinerary.....guess how my jimmies react? they don't! excellent product. 5 stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Cereal, June 23, 2008

This review is from: Food For Life Ezekiel 4:9 Organic Sprouted Grain Cereal, Almond, 16-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6) (Grocery)
It really stinks that eating the healthiest foods costs the most but in my opinion, it's worth it. I love these cereals. The first case I bought from amazon was the original and I wound up eating it for breakfast, snacks, lunch, whenever, without milk or adding anything... I love the crunch and the taste. I actually ate the whole case in about 2 weeks and very little else... and it is amazing that I didn't gain weight, my bms were much better, and I had great energy and felt well- my body was craving it. Try that on Coco Puffs, Cornflakes, and even any of the other "healthy" cereals in the healthfood stores!

I actually make my own sprouted grain breads and crackers which I could easily break up to make this type of cereal- there is nothing in the world like it, but it takes 2 days of sprouting and a couple of hours to complete the food processing and spreading on the baking sheet process, and then 3-4 hours of low-heat baking. So when I don't have time to do this, a... Read more

I tried this cereal with coconut milk and it taste wonderful. It adds just enough sweetness without ruining the whole idea of being healthy. If you add strawberries, a banana or some blueberries it makes it even greater. You'll get a protein serving along with a fruit serving! Definitely worth the nearly $5/box. Its expensive to be healthy....Pay the farmer or pay the doctor....

Taste Great! You only need a little cereral per serving. I add it to vanilla yogurt and fresh fruit for extra crunch. Also good by itself or add it to your favorite cereal for extra flavor and crunch. Would highly recommend this product.

2.0 out of 5 stars Overly sweet but otherwise tasteless and blah, May 29, 2012

It's possible that this product is aimed at children: with its cloying super-sweetness and otherwise bland, cardboard-like taste, it resembles Trix, the cereal so loved by that Silly Rabbit. But the hype of the cereal seems aimed at adults, with its "Nature's Path" brand and claims of gluten-free whole grain goodness and flax seed. For me, the real question is, why bother? There are so many yummy gluten free cereals now on the market, my favorites being Trader Joe's varieties of GF granola, which are delicious, that this product will not be on my radar screen. It's just not tasty enough to compete.

2.0 out of 5 stars There are better choices out there, June 6, 2012

Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program ( What's this?)
This cereal is masquerading as healthy. Yes, it is organic and gluten-free, but it also is a processed food containing a fair amount of sugar at 7g per serving (second ingredient is organic evaporated cane juice) and gets its fiber from added inulin (and maybe additional sweetening from this ingredient), rather than just from whole grains. The major grain constituents of corn meal/flour and brown rice flour are not the healthiest grain ingredients but might be needed to get a decent gluten free cereal (this contains no oats, which are also gluten free). The amount of fiber per serving is 3g, not too great for a healthy cereal. This is not a fortified cereal, so Vitamin A, C and calcium are 0% and iron only 4% of RDA.

The package is somewhat deceptive in that it lists a serving as having relatively low calories (110 calories), but the reason becomes evident when looking into the serving size. The cereal serving size is 2/3c = 30g = 1.10 oz, which is smaller when... Read more

3.0 out of 5 stars Where's The Vanilla???, June 5, 2012

Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program ( What's this?)
I was pretty excited about trying this product. I like most of the nature's path products that I've tried but I try to avoid the products that contain natural flavors. The only gluten free cereal they carry that doesn't contain natural flavors are their Peanut Butter Panda Puffs. Of course Nature's Path makes way way way better cereal than the conventional brands, but I am very fussy about what I put into my body & don't want to pay top dollar for additives.

At first bite I was disappointed. My first thought was, "This doesn't taste like vanilla at all." I kept eating & then thought it tasted odd. It is hard to describe but there is a slight lingering bitterness. I doubt I will eat this again. To make matters worse, it is not filling at all. I usually juice in the morning & find juicing is more filling than this. Plus juicing is much more nutritious. I also don't care for the addition of inulin or vitamin e.

Last there is nothing like a cereal calling... Read more
