Go Raw 100% Organic Apple Cinnamon Granola Cereal, 16-Ounce Bags (Pack of 2) Reviews
By Juniper (Santa Cruz) - See all my reviews This review is from: Go Raw 100% Organic Apple Cinnamon Granola Cereal, 16-Ounce Bags (Pack of 2) (Grocery) This granola boasts to be high in fiber, very low in sodium, with 5g of protein. It does not outwardly boast to have 36 grams of carbohydrates and 18 grams of sugar (from dates, coconut and dried apples) per 1/3 cup serving. Likely, if you were an average cereal eater to begin with, and you're switching to this for health reasons, you might be inclined to fill your bowl with more than 1/3 of a cup, or simply snack on more than that. That is, if you can get past the taste and texture. At $8.50/bag (on sale at our local store), I am not doing my body or my wallet any favours by eating this, even as a travel or camping snack. I think I'll stick with shopping the perimeter of the store for true living foods and leave the soaked, sprouted, dehydrated, over-priced, wonder raw foods in their packages on the shelves in the middle of the store where they belong. Really, if food needs that much amending, I am not certain we should be consuming it. I don't miss granola *that* much! This review is from: Go Raw 100% Organic Apple Cinnamon Granola Cereal, 16-Ounce Bags (Pack of 2) (Grocery) I bought this product at whole foods. It looked promising but don't be fooled. It tasted like cardboard and my mom and I spit it out. Don't waste your money. 1 of 2 people found the following review helpful By A-H junkie (Washington, DC United States) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Go Raw 100% Organic Apple Cinnamon Granola Cereal, 16-Ounce Bags (Pack of 2) (Grocery) Tastes really good, and it's sweet, even though there's no agave. I highly recommend this raw cereal. I use almond milk with this cereal for breakfast. You won't be disappointed. |
