I also find that this mixture "holds" me longer than straight oatmeal. If you find that you get hungry too soon after breakfast, give this product a go---the price on Amazon is great, compared to what I've spent in the stores. 8 of 8 people found the following review helpful By This review is from: Bob's Red Mill Organic Whole Grain Creamy Buckwheat Hot Cereal, 18-Ounce Bags (Pack of 4) (Grocery) This is a good alternative to oatmeal. It takes a little while longer to make in the microwave than oatmeal, but it can be done at a lower power setting. (I microwave it for two minutes at 70% power as opposed to oatmeal for one minute at full power.) With a little pure maple syrup or agave nectar, it's very good. 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful By Elizabeth B. "bookmaven" (Fort Worth, Texas USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Bob's Red Mill Organic Whole Grain Creamy Buckwheat Hot Cereal, 18-Ounce Bags (Pack of 4) (Grocery) This wonderful cereal has a unique, non-sweet taste which fruit enlivens considerably. I cook mine for 5 minutes in the microwave and wait a minute or two before eating it. |
